This is not the first video i wanted to see about my new ipad pro i just bought 2 hours ago and had the keyboard on the counter at the register and changed my mind lasty minute and just went with the pencil pro and ipad

After long time of UA-cam search I come up to your video and it is exactly what I was looking for. Your use cases are like mine. I also like writing and reading on iPad. I subscribed immediately.

So far, I am really enjoying the Apple Pencil Pro, but it has not paired with defined me app and I can’t figure out how to get it to do so

It's also much more unstable. The iPad is further back and now the iPad tips over more easily.

I just bought my ipad pro 11" and this keyboard today. I was hesitant to get the keyboard due to the high price tag but after just 2 hours of using it I'd say it is so well made and function that it is worth it. I have no regrets parting with my 300 bucks for this. It almost makes it into a laptop. The only issue I have seen and not sure if anyone else has this problem is when I get my OTP SMS messages when logging into my accounts with 2FA there is no area on the iPad that shows the 2FA code at least when the keyboard is attached. So now I have to check my text and enter the codes manually. That is really annoying and I have to see if this is being caused by something else like forwarding enabled on iPhone which I suspect is not enabled yet. Other than that it is way better than I had hoped.

I know I’m not the I it one to spend that $300 and have issues with it. Mine doesn’t even work after just a year and a half. I will never buy one of these again.

can u diasble double tap and keep squeeze? cuc double tap is mad annoying. always switches tools. had to disable mine

Your intro can easily be used as an Ad, I have the M1 iPad Pro (which works perfect), but after those 45 seconds I was convinced to upgrade lol

Nothing magical about a keyboard that doesn’t add basic data ports or a sd card slot to a “computer replacement”

I have to agree. Just set up my new M4 iPad Pro 13 today - upgrading from the M1 iPad Pro 12.9. You are absolutely right on the Magic Keyboard. The whole thing feels magical and does everything simply and easily. I never thought it would be better than the old one and cursed Apple for making me get a new Magic Keyboard I now appreciate why and how essential it is to taking it to the next level. The M4 chip deserves it. You sit in front of it and it is hard not to say "WOW" and keep the smile off your face.

I agree -- the new keyboard is *amazing*. I think I like it better than my MacBook Air keyboard. Typing on it is a breeze. I still find the trackpad a little jumpy at times.

I wished the outsides were metal too so I won’t have to worry about the bottom getting dirty and ruining the material over time.

The best feature is the Escape key!

It’s completely beyond me why people would buy a tablet and pay extra to turn it into a worse version of a cheaper laptop.

Please try to take notes with the pencil while having the magic keyboard attached.

I liked the old one... it worked when I needed it and was better than anything else. However this one is at another level, if I could dual boot Mac OS on my pro I wouldn't need my MBP. The typing experience to me is on par with my MBP and better than most Windows laptops... of course it costs about as much as some of those as well :)

I immediately ordered the iPad Pro 13 inch (basic 256 GB model) plus Pencil Pro after the event and got it delivered yesterday. Some (well, most) people claim it's an expensive purchase but I didn't even have to think twice to draw my creditcard. This Magic Keyboard though, at this price? Man, for about the same price you can get the regular iPad 10th gen. I have no idea what to do at the moment but you've swayed me somewhat in the direction of getting it. Not sure I'm happy about that ;)

It's a little surprising that you didn't notice the tiny rubber lib surrounding the keys that acts as the cushion to protect the iPad screen!

So annoying this can’t be used on older iPads

Nice but I'll keep my Magic Keyboard instead of buying the new one. Same with the Ipad. Don't see anything that I need from either. I'm good thanks.

Great video, loved it. I am going to stick with the white as it doesn't show fingerprints like the black and I can keep it cleaner. Same with the silver.

For goodness sakes, it’s a keyboard…a hugely OVERPRICED keyboard.

Great video! The pencil alone is worth the update. For me it was an easy decision because my six year old iPad Pro stopped working. I can’t wait to test the barrel rotation in ProCreate.

I have just been using my new M4 11” iPad outdoors (in UK sunshine 13:00 - so sun almost overhead) and at last I can watch UA-cam and browse outdoors thanks to the extra bright screen. I’m not sure if the WiFi has changed much since my. Previous M1 iPad but the WiFi signal also seems to be much stronger. The iPad combined with the Magic Keyboard is also noticeably if only slightly lighter. If you want to use your device outside, I would definately recommend the newer device for that alone.

Chris, not sure how much sound absorption you have but there was definitely some echo when using the ipad mics further away but it did sound quite good when close up. Just curious, what do you think about an ipad stand that could use the smart connectors? MagSafe would have also been nice, but with such a large battery, would probably take too long to charge.

It’s such a wasted opportunity of a keyboard. The only issue it has is a major deal breaker as the hinge broke after 2 weeks of moderate usage

There’s zero reason why they couldn’t have built this to be compatible with the previous pros

The usb C pen is a 10$ knockoff, it’s not an option.

Tell me when they make a new mini that uses it, otherwise I don’t care.
